One-Eighty and The Art Room are really pleased to be hosting 'The Emerging Innovations Conference' in Oxfordshire, focusing on 'improving mental well-being and behaviour in children and families'. The day will consist of 14 workshops giving attendees practical ideas and information that they can immediately use in their working life.
One-Eighty exists to engage excluded and vulnerable children and young people (aged 4-16) with a positive learning experience through working on patterns of thinking, behaviour and emotions that hinder learning.
Working from Art Rooms embedded within primary and secondary schools, The Art Room helps children and young people who are being held back by their emotional challenges. Using art as a therapeutic vehicle, we provide a gentle, early intervention, working in familiar places where children already spend their day. The Art Room helps children and young people explore their identity, grow in confidence and develop the social skills they need to engage in learning and thrive in life.
