We are pleased to invite you to the launch of the final report of our Improving Futures project, funded by Big Lottery. Improving Futures was launched in March 2011 as a key opportunity to drive forward innovation in early intervention support of families across the UK with multiple and complex needs.
Supporting over 7,000 families who face multiple and complex needs, Improving Futures launched an opportunity to seek a more innovative approach to supporting those families. With projects based all over the UK, the programme has created a wealth of innovation and learning shared between the voluntary sector and public services.
You will hear key highlights from the final report, and learn how the work has supported families to improve outcomes including child behaviour and parental anxiety. We will also share learning on how Improving Futures projects have broken new ground in their work with primary schools, providing a unique opportunity to fully understand the strengths and challenges of such a model.
The Improving Futures projects have demonstrated the wide range of possibilities in how family projects can build and utilise community assets and link families into these assets, and the impact this can have.
Join us for the final report launch, alongside our key speaker with responses from a panel of experts including Naomi Eisenstadt, Kate Morris from the University of Nottingham, Samantha Callan, Parliamentary Advisor to Lord Farmer, and Pamela Park, Deputy Chief Executive of Family Lives.
